Dedicated servers
A whole server for your workspaces alone, with dedicated CPUs. For steady heavy use, many desktops at once, or work that shouldn't share a machine.
When to use one#
- You run many boxes most of the day, and a flat price is simpler than counting hours.
- You want your boxes on a machine nobody else uses.
- You need several large desktops running side by side.
For occasional use, ordinary boxes billed by the second cost less.

“Fits about” counts desktops of the default box size running at once. Your prices, monthly and hourly, are on Pricing. Servers run in the location nearest you, like boxes.
Monthly or hourly#
| Billing | How it works |
|---|---|
| Monthly | A flat price each month from your balance. The cheapest way to keep a server for a whole month. |
| Hourly | Charged for the hours the server exists. Delete it when you're done, or let it delete itself when idle. |
Both come from the same balance as everything else. Dedicated servers are available on Pro, Team and Enterprise.
Ordering#
Order a server under Plan and billing → Computer time. It is ready a few minutes later, and your workspaces can run on it from then on.
